Strength in the Fire

God's love is at work even when we face times of pain & sorrow, he never leaves us or forsakes us.

He is always there, if we are weak or struggling he is by our side. When we are weak He is strong for us.
 
Life can be cruel at times, but we get new mercies everyday to handle it, to survive, to conquer.

Emerge from your quicksand with renewed strength.

I promise you will not smell like the fire you have just conquered.

You know how children play the game & pick sides for their team, God picked you, already you are on his team.

The winning team, the team that has unity, that has all the power players on it.

You have already been chosen!

With all your flaws, and short comings, God chose you anyway and loves you unconditionally.

Stand up and be inplace & counted amoung the beloved!

Calm & Collected

They have said that the new Redskin quarterback RG3 is the master of control, but I know someone that kept it together in the worst of times, his name is Jesus.

They beat him all night long, spit on him, mocked him, lied on him, hammered nails in his flesh, and he didn't mumble a word.

When he did speak he said; Forgive Them!

That's calm & collected, he saw his assignment of the cross through to the end with control, dignity, & honor, for you & me.
